So BF wants to take me to the Caribbean for the holidays..

I'm just not that into him...too much baggage..from ex-wife/kids

I don't have any ex's threatening me...and no kids..

I've gone dutch on the holiday..so it's kinda too late to back out now..

1. as I look out onto a gray snowy day here, I think - go! It's the Caribbean
with all that azure water and warmth. :D

2. It is never too late to back out.
"So BF wants to take me to the Caribbean for the holidays" and "I've gone dutch on the holiday", are contradictory statements. So the holiday is his idea but you are paying half? Is this a place you really want to go? I am asking if it is just him you're not excited over or the vacation itself? I agree with tigereye, the Caribbean holds some warm enchantment and you can enjoy that despite his baggage. Actually, get him to leave his baggage at home if you decide to go.

His ex threatens him? Over what?

3. When were you planning to tell him that you're not into him?
Because if that's how you feel, I think it would be pretty rude to go on vacation with him anyway, then dump him when you get back. I don't care if you went dutch or not, if you know the relationship isn't going anywhere, do the honorable thing and tell him now. Maybe he'd have time to find someone else to go with him.
