Which TV series would you like to see re-made.
(After all the drama of the past few days. Need something fun.)

Which TV series from the past decades which was canceled early/done cheesy/ or whatever that you would like to see re-made into something better.

My wife (Gawd love her but some of the shows she like as a kid really has me wondering.)got this show called Voyagers in which this guy and boy time travels in time to make everything right. The main premise of the series was to get kids interested in reading and history.

She has said a couple of time she would love to see it re-made and have a the kid (now an adult.) play the lead role.

She inspired this post as well.

1. wow, I haven't thought of that show in ages
don't remember much of anything about it other than the pocketwatch, and that there was some kind of cool graphics either when they jumped in time or (perhaps and) when they cut to a commercial. (Well, my bro and I thought it was cool at the time, but we were pretty young, so it might well have been something less than cool in real life.) And they pitched for "your local library."

2. Well it certainly wasn't cheesy, but I could go for some...
'Streets of San Francisco' action...and Andrew Garfield would make a fine Inspector Steve Keller..

Maybe a 'SOSF' movie....

4. Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea
That would be cool. They could upgrade the hell out of the original sub. Great adventures in a world we hardly know!

5. I remember Voyager!
very Quantum Leap-ish. Fun show to watch as a kid - which was the last time I saw it!

So I guess in that theme I'd have to go with a Quantum Leap remake/follow-up. There was a movie being planned years back that would have focused on Sam's daughter but it never happened evidently. Doh.

Here's an old 80's show I used to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd1HaaFlUo0

6. The Lloyd Bridges Show
Edited on Thu Dec-02-10 09:12 AM by chemenger
it was an anthology drama series produced by Aaron Spelling that ran from September, 1962 to May, 1963.

The Dupont Show with June Allyson.

Also, The Outcasts, a short-lived Western television series, that aired on ABC in the 1968-69 season. The series co-starred Don Murray and Otis Young, and is probably most notable for being the first television Western with a black co-star and the first bi-racial Western action team.

7. when they redid 'Twilight Zone' and basically slaughtered it
my dreams of remakes kind of dulled a lot.
I have written before of a quirky little show from the '80s called 'Eerie, Indiana.' I would love to see someone with a good sense of humor revive it.
