I just found out someone who was incredibly mean to me a year ago has been incarcerated for the last few months. I don't know what for.

Some of my friends want to do court support for her tomorrow, and I got an email inviting me to come along.

I don't think she's a bad person, and I feel bad for her. Part of me wants to go tomorrow, but part of me thinks she wouldn't even appreciate me being there. After all, she is friends with my ex, who has probably told her what a psycho I apparently am.

towards you. She may accuse you of being there to gloat or blame you for her predicament. If she was mean to you for no aparent reason she sounds irrational and should be avoided. I speak from experience.
