leave the mess
she will be mad for a few days but she will feel good inside always knowing you are headed right to the dumpster without her guidance
in the long run the positive feelings she will have over your domestic uselessness will overwhelm the momentary anger of the mess
and the added bonus for her is she can trumpet your mess to all her friends who dont like you anyways
