wow, I just got a reward for a good deed!
a couple months ago we helped some friends who had kind of broken down with trailer problems up at "the Thing"

plate of shrimp? Our last remaining working vehicle broke down on Wednesday, forcing us to get one of the other dead vehicles running again. So this afternoon we went up to...yes..."the Thing" to fill it with gas. It costs more up there than in town, but we can get to it using back roads because I don't want to pay for registration and insurance until I know for sure it's actually going to run. Stopped by the Post Office on the way home as we hadn't picked up the mail in well over a week. There was a package from the friends we had helped back in September or whenever it was.

A bottle of Cazadores Anejo! Going to go nice with the lime harvest (these are all off my little three year old potted tree)

1. Good for you, Kali.
I'm sure you do many good deeds, and it's nice to get a little something now and then.

Cheers.

(PS...'A' bottle?)

2. it was a nice day-brightener for sure!
they gave us 3 frozen pasture raised chickens that night, and it was REALLY our thrill to help somebody else for a change as it is usually us (me) that is broken down and in need of rescue!

not sure what you PS means?
they sent a (single) bottle of tequila

6. Oh sorry, I mistook the pic for a bottle of beer.
Please disregard the ps.

That was plenty generous after all.

7. I can see your mistake
it does look like a corona and some key limes! those are big honking regular limes - big as lemons (the nuts in the white bowl are pecans and they are just a little smaller than a key lime)
