Walking Dead finale - with spoilers

Interesting finale - not sure how I liked it yet. Will have to watch it again.

They try to make Shane a sympathetic figure in the beginning by having him go all out to save Rick way back in the hospital... and, then turn it around and have him drunkenly try to rape Lori.

Jenner gave a realistic account of why he was the last one left at CDC, I thought. I figured a place like the CDC, though. Good dig at the oil industry by him - saying how the place is running out of fuel.

Good emotional showdown with Dale & Amanda at the end

At least they didn't end things with a cliffhanger, so we'd be hanging for 10 months.

2. If there is a cliffhanger, it's what Jenner whispered to Rick.

I did a quick Google search last night around the internets and some say Jenner may have tested Lori's blood and found out she's pregnant, and Rick isn't the father (seems kind of unlikely). Others say Jenner whispered their next destination. Others speculate that all of them are already infected with the zombie virus (or whatever it is). I guess we'll have to wait until next Halloween to find out. :( x(

I like the series, but I really don't like the visuals - they're very disturbing to me.

What was Jenner's account of the CDC? And how did Jenner die? The usual zombie way?

Oh, and how did Rick survive in the hospital after the plague broke out?

4. Jenner's account...

he doesn't know what's causing the zombie outbreak. He said he didn't know if it was microbial, viral, fungal...and last he heard, France was the furthest along in figuring out what was wrong, but, from my understanding, they suffered the same fate as Jenner, which was the CDC ran out of fuel, a massive decontamination took place where the whole building was scorched with 6,000 degree heat and he stayed inside, along with Jacqui (name?).

Jenner said that when all hell broke loose, a lot of people left to be with their families. Then, after it looked like there was no hope in solving the crisis, there was a rash of suicides among the remaining people at the CDC. France somehow managed to keep most of their staff together until they ran out of power.

However, he was just a worker bee there - his wife (TS-19) - was the real genius of the place and a real hope for solving the problem. I think she ran the whole show there. However, she got infected and volunteered to become Test Subject 19, and he studied her until she died, and then was "reborn" 2 hours and a few minutes later.

6. Also, how Rick survived

Shane went into the hospital to try & get him, but he was still hooked up to all the IVs/monitors/etc. All hell was breaking loose - soldiers were shooting everything that moved - doctors, nurses, geeks, staff, etc and Shane had to avoid all of them. He tried to pick Rick up, but he was still attached, so Shane put him back down when he noticed that Rick's vitals had flatlined - he then listened for a hearbeat and seemingly heard none. He then left and locked the door behind him, then put a gurney in front of the door.
