I got the job...now I have to go down to the city for the test

Tuesday morning, I have to catch the train early ( 5 A.M ). It's an eight-hour training course with lunch provided, I am told. This is a security officer job that will start out part-time working me into ( eventually, hopefully ) full-time as I am told. I guess I just have to prove myself or something...

So, I don't know what this test will be like but I could use some vibes right now as this is the first positive hit I have had in the year I have been looking for work...best thing is, it is at a local mall

4. From what I am told, it is patrolling four hours inside the mall, and four outside

and, it is the midnight shift ( no customers...interesting ) and different from anything I have ever tried out

6. heh, you're telling me! although....they DID ask if I was willing to fill in for day

shift if the opportunity arose, I said yes. Now..one of my roommates who works there told me they will throw as many hours as they can at me for the holidays ( good..good, I want that shit! ) so there may be some interaction with customers, but I'm still not sure yet..we will see! :D

10. The four outside hours, are they in a vehicle?

I've done "guard duty" outside in the winter in the wee hours. It's a seemingly endless stretch, and you need many layers and very good boots. The army had some white rubber things we called Mickey Mouse Boots and they were very warm, even in the below zero temps.
