4. They should've eliminated Jamie.
She left for a cut that required two stitches, yet she stays. Please. :eyes:

6. Jen said that it didn't make a difference in the food.
She was/is so full of herself. I wouldn't have eliminated Jaime. You get rid of the one that made the bad food, not the one that didn't contribute enough due to leaving for stitches.

7. they probably use the same rules as the Sports leagues do
in that you can't cut someone on the injured list. Even if the injury wasn't bad, and two stitches ain't bad, you still look like cold-hearted bastards for cutting someone who got injured.

The posters in the TWOP forums are speculating that the producers or the show's lawyers told Jamie to get the cut fixed so she didn't get any blood in the kids' food.

9. sorry, televisionwithoutpity.com
most major shows are covered by someone who recaps all the episodes and/or have their own forums. Here is Top Chef's forum: http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?s=6b31b2e1b4c1012108bfa10152f2e2dc&showforum=868

11. Yeah...that was a little bogus.
When Fabio cut himself in his season, it was a lot worse and yet he just taped himself up and kept on. That is a occupational hazard that Jamie should be used to by now. She was not around for most of the prep and to my mind, it deserved a hard look.

However, Jen's combative attitude was inexcusable. Mouthing off to the judges for no constructive reason is never a good thing -- contrast that with Fabio's conversation with Anthony Bourdain last week. Fabio was right to expect a little professional courtesy from a fellow chef, and he rightfully spoke up.

12. spoiler...
I thought Tre might be in danger but then they hated all of Jen's dish so I think they had no choice. They can SAY her attitude didn't have anything to do with it but I think she went too far. Some of them have learned to "stand behind their food" and be respected for it. Others know when to admit they screwed up but provide a reason for it. I do feel that the show foreshadowed her exit when they had her ramble on about winning instead of pleasing the crowd.
