Hooray for kind, phone saavy people!...

I found a gift item online at a department store. Located which store had them in stock and went to get them. Online they were reg. priced at $9.99, on sale for $4.99. I needed 8 so that meant a $40 savings.

When I got to the store, there was no sale sign and the regular price was $11.99! I mentioned the sale price and the salesperson said she needed a print out of the web page. I tried to use my phone but I think I have internet blocked because of the kids.

What to do, what to do.

I went out into the mall and went to a nearby store and asked if they had internet access. No, but a young guy said he could use his phone. I offered mine but he couldn't get it to work. Then he found the page and OFFERED TO WALK ME BACK to the store and show the saleslady.

Hooray for kind people!

Thanks for posting a positive story about shopping. I just got back from Costco and even though it was busy, most people were civil trying to steer their big carts through crowded aisles.
