My little girl was in her very first Christmas show at school and I just have to show her off :loveya:

3. The teachers helped them
They all had the same thing on their shirts and Santa hats. They were singing and dancing and it was just so cute. Yeah, I'm an old softy lol. :D

And you're right, it is rife with pagan symbolism even though is celebrated as a Christian holiday. Actually, it's a perfect holiday for a recovering Southern Baptist gone Unitarian like myself. :P

Recovering Catholic here, but I still love the music, the tree, the spirit of care for others and redemption, and the winter festival aspect of things. If I were picking another church to go to, it would probably be a Unitarian Church or maybe Episcopalian (but the tolerant ones, not the ones frightened of gay ministers.)
