Prescott Valley man arrested on super extreme DUI charges

PRESCOTT VALLEY - A Prescott Valley man has been arrested after being
found passed out in his running car at a school bus stop.

Police say preliminary breath tests show 41-year-old Lloyd Kennie had a
blood-alcohol level of .335 percent at the time of Thursday afternoon's
arrest. That's way above the legal limit of .08 percent to operate a vehicle in Arizona.

2. The article doesn't say but I wonder
how long he'd been passed out. In other words maybe his blood alcohol level was even higher then that at some point? Is that even physically possible, and still live to tell about it??? Oh-my is right! :yoiks:

3. I'm an ER Nurse--the other week I had someone with a BAL of 584
that would be .584. Another pt had one in the 600's

Last night, Friday night, it would be a reasonable estimate that about 80% of the intoxicated that came in had BAL's over 300. WAY over 300. Most of them drivers of cars.

4. That's about the same level of a guy I know
He's been in jail for 15 months after two extremes in a week.
A great guy, a great mechanic, and you can't tell he's drunk.
I sent him some commissary money today. Out of jail in Feb, 2011
