Great contrast in sparse lines across a fiery sky of the dancing billows above a mysteriously vague silhouette at the base. Great composition on that vertical shot. The bark maze at the left of the top shot is as compelling. Have you thought of doing a calendar as a fundraiser for your favorite charity? Perhaps pair some of the phrases or poetry you've written with images you've caught, I'd sure like to see such an expression of you.

The wind was from the west, so no Santa Ana winds to blow the smog out to sea, which is almost guaranteed to bring brilliant skies...
