49. A NOTE FROM JENNIFER TO YOU ALL

My response to DU:

Thank you all for saying such nice things about me! I read what Tobin wrote about coming off the road 4 years ago to settle down - I told him "I was not ready 4 years ago - that's why you didn't find me"... I think he thinks that I am kidding - but I am not. When I found him on the dating site - and emailed him - he emailed me back and I could just see the first line - it said something like "Thanks for the email - I haven't been on here for a while and some things have changed..." - my heart sank... But then I read the email and he wanted to talk to me... Since then, I realize that in Toby (which is what I call him) I have found the missing piece of a puzzle that was my chaotic life before I met him... Now I know what I was missing and I didn't know that I could ever be so insane, crazy happy! I am calm for the first time in my life. I know that and the people who are around me have noticed that too! (There's a line of people waiting to thank him - the person at the front of the line? My father...)

In regards to him being on the road so much - when I first read his profile - that was pretty attractive to me - I thought I could "eaze in" to a relationship... Wrong! I fell like a ton of bricks for him. I start missing him before he has even walked out my door... But, I know he is coming home to me and he knows that I am not going anywhere and that I am waiting here for him. But I miss him when he is gone - something awful!

Thanks again for such a warm welcome here - I'll try to drop by every now and then - but I told Toby - this is his place and I don't want to horn in on it. I can see that he has many fans here - but I am pretty sure I am his #1 fan...

I am a very lucky and happy girl...
