VIDEO: Justin Bieber Performance Cancelled on German TV Show After Stunt Goes Horribly Wrong
COLOGNE, Germany -- Live performances by Justin Bieber and Take That on Germany's top TV variety show were cancelled after a man was severely injured during the show's live broadcast. Watch above.
The 23-year-old amateur stunt man was trying to jump over a speeding car driven by his father when he hit the windshield and crashed to the ground. He was taken to hospital and is currently in a medically induced coma undergoing treatment for a severe spinal injury. Broadcaster ZDF immediately cancelled the show, Wanna Bet? for the first time in its 29-year run.
Justin Bieber was seen discussing the accident later that evening in the lobby of the Hotel Interconti in Dusseldorf with other Wanna Bet? guests. Brit band Take That did not stick around. They were whisked away from the studio and flew back to London that evening.
Other scheduled guests included Cameron Diaz and Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz, there to promote The Green Hornet.

Because young Mr. Bieber playing music is more important than the 23 year old who was critically injured. Weird.
