Poll question: Toolbar question. Yahoo vs. Google
I have been using Yahoo toolbar but am thinking of switching to the Google toolbar. What do you guys use, if any? Looking for opinions.

1. None.
I use the browser Opera and it doesn't allow these toolbars to load into it because, well, you don't need them with Opera :D

3. Reasons to not use a browser toolbar add-on
Toolbars implemented as web browser plug-ins have become a popular vulnerability for spyware and malware creators. Browser toolbars are commonly bundled with installers for other "partner" products as an "opt-out" default without the user's explicit consent.<1>

Browser toolbars are supposed to provide additional search fields, form-fill, links back to popular sites, malware detection, etc. However, in many cases their primary purpose is instead to collect anonymous marketing statistics or reinforce a brand (by displaying the logo at the top of each browser window)

4. Neither - use firefox, they have a little search box in the corner that you can use on any engine

5. I might use a toolbar if they ate up horizontal space. But on my laptop, verticle space is limited.
I just keep it as simple as possible: menu bar, nav bar, tab bar, and that status bar down on the bottom. Even at that, I'd like to compress my nav and menu bars into one.

6. I only have the address bar and my bookmarks bar.
If I want to search, Google's homepage is one of my bookmarks. Or, since I'm using Chrome, I can just type my search term into the address bar and it automatically uses Google to search for me. :)

7. Toolbars are a waste of RAM
IDK about anyone else, but all they do is slow down my system.

8. If you're into Google, then just go Chrome.
No toolbars to worry about, plus searches in the address field go to Google (though you can select Yahoo! or Bing).
