Don't know if this has been posted before
If so, well, it can't be seen too many times, IMO. Especially now. 9/11 first responders need to be recognized for what they did and continue to go through. A lot of us have been first responders in other situations and would not have hesitated to have gone down there on that day. Fate may have led us in other directions - but our fellow brothers and sisters who responded on that day and on other days following had no clue that the government would abandon them thereafter.

Let's not let lose track of that. Those folks deserve our respect and gratitude, and by damn, they deserve what our government should give them for their service.
