It was the best damned promotion I've ever seen. I've never talked to my "neighbors," I think someone from Germany on one side and Holland on another. But I cherish the certificate of deed they sent me! And I hope to visit my little square foot of land some day. In the meantime, I'll just keep drinking it.

I prefer Lagavulin, but it got so damned expensive a few years back it's pretty much off my list. I got my first taste of the stuff back in the late 70s, when a friend who'd gone to grad school at St. Andrews brought us back a bottle. It was a complete revelation back then. But I'm definitely an Islay girl!
