Flynn has no chance against the patriots. :(

2. Lol konok
I'm fairly disappointed, but I'm not giving up hope. Flynn is a career backup, but he's a far sight better than a lot of backups out there. John Skelton of the Cardinals, for example. Our defense HAS to step up tonight. WRAP UP TACKLING! Why the hell can't we do that for the past few weeks?

4. The Packers are screwed.
I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I'm a realist.

5. We really don't know what Flynn can do
He never plays so how can we really know? I am of the belief that even with Rogers the Packers would have little chance because of the lack of anything resembling a running game. But I will not give up hope. GO PACK GO!

7. They played a damn good game.
I thought the Pats would tank after clinching a playoff spot.

8. There remains the possibility that the Chicago Bears will lose tonight in Minnesota.
The much-discussed "cover 2" defense is extremely vulnerable when the turf is slippery. If the front four cannot get pressure on the QB, any competent passer can pick the cover 2 apart. Tonight's game is, of course, outdoors at the University of Minnesota.

I am a Bears fan and have no faith in the Bears, who have pulled to 9-4 with a weak schedule and a lot of luck, especially with regard to timing. But I have less faith in the Vikings, so I suspect the Packers will indeed miss the playoffs, and the Bears will face their old rivals in a meaningless game at the end of the season.

Mind you, I'm OK with the Pack going home to pout in January. I am a Bears fan, after all.

10. The Packers ARE going to the playoffs
Here's how (in order of importance).

MUST HAPPEN:
Packers beat Giants

Really needs to happen:
Packers beat Bears
Tampa Bay loses to either Seattle or New Orleans
OR
Packers lose to Bears
TB loses to BOTH Seattle and New Orleans
Giants lose to Redskins

In either of those scenarios, the Packers win the 6 seed. I'm not sure if they would hold the tie-breaker with Tampa Bay. They have the same conference record, and it gets complicated after that.

Dream Outlook:
Bears lose out (9-7)
Packers win out (10-6)
Packers win NFC North
