Antonio Bandaras is one lucky son-of-a-bitch
I'm watching "Desperado" on Showtime Extreme. He just made love with Salma Hayek.

*sigh*

1. My dear krispos42...
And if you were thinking they were *really* making love, think again...

How would you like it if there were a bunch of folks standing around, complete with cameras, lights, mics and so on, watching you?

Believe me, they're ACTING.

Maybe they enjoy it...we can hope...

I've heard that it is not really much fun...

Sorry, sweetie...

2. Perhaps I did not state it properly, CaliPeg...
El Marachi made sweet, sweet love to Carolina, who looks remarkably like Salma Hayek!

:-)

El Marachi is a lucky son-of-a-bitch!

9. That's true.
Maybe it's because they're not acting?

And I also suppose you can get used to making love under any circumstances...

17. The first and only time I saw a porno movie...
I was shocked to learn they were really doing it! I assumed it would be like any other movie where they acted like they were doing it.

I was so naive!

So I stared and turned my head and asked so many questions I really annoyed the hell out of the person exposing me to this form of art, lol.

If Tony and Angelina were just acting, they both deserve an Oscar. Sacre merde.

20. Antonio Banderas is a good looking guy, though. If you want to talk lucky
Billy Bob Thornton was married to Angelina Jolie briefly, and also had some torrid scenes with Halle Berry... now, that is lucky.

22. Thankfully, Mr. Banderas appears to be a little less shallow than some
since he has been married to Griffith for almost 15 years. Perhaps he realizes looks are fleeting.

25. I like Banderas, Hayek, Griffith, and Jolie
as artists and what the media has provided.

Watched Mambo Kings in the middle of the night on satelite tv just this very early AM.

All four seem more socially and environementally conscious than most celebrities -- maybe just PR but flaws are out there too -- all are sexy, human, and ultimately kind of heart and gentle for their position in their chosen theatrical roles.

I can't say I am a fan of action and violent movies but these four have a unique style and placement in their roles.

26. Did you know
that Banderas had to learn his lines for the Mambo Kings phonetically - he didn't speak English at the time. Talk about your over-achievers... Great music that, too.

27. That is really cool. The language problem was part of his character in Mambo Kings.

I enjoy all the theatre arts.

Banderas is a talented actor and a physically beautiful man (said as a near 60 white male heterosexual).

I think it mean to pick on Melanie Griffith for ageing. The couple have been an enduring marriage for the difficulty of celebrity and Hollywood and have played funny, sexy, and liberal roles -- this is a political forum.

PS I watched Easy Rider on satelite dish recently. First saw Easy Rider on a field trip to Dublin, CA theatre from a then liberal and 2nd and 3rd year of existence boarding school in SF area (68-70 era, 2nd and 3rd year of school). Saw Midnight Cowboy and Prime of Mrs Jean Brodie at same theatre and first run 2001 in SF on other field trips (not to mention Hair, Jimi Hendrix in Berkeley, Fillmore West, North Beach culture, McCarthy, Humphrey, and Wallace as well as anti-war rallies, etc). Now the school is a $40,000 plus/year day school in what developed into a ultra rich SF area enclave.
