How pathetic is this?

we were ready to break out the champagne (that we don't even have) because the youngest son managed to drive our truck to work and back home today with no problems! The first time this month something didn't break or was already broken, causing him to has either have to catch a ride from somebody else, or stay in town, every single day this month until today.


Our thrills are sad, aren't they?


To top off the bad luck, we sent 4 steers to the sale barn on Saturday without realizing they aren't going to have a sale until after New Years. Shit. I knew they probably wouldn't be having one between x-mass and New Years, but figured we were good this week. Now we will have to pay for feeding them for however long that is. Guess we could bring them home but I just don't want to risk anything with the truck right now.

Have I mentioned I really don't like this time of year?
