I've just received a lovely gift that I can't keep.
One of the attorneys I work for just gave me a white hydrangea plant. I looked it up: hydrangeas are toxic to cats. Can't keep it in the house. I also looked up when to plant: late summer or early fall. So planting isn't an option.
Anyone here who lives in Southern Maryland or works in DC? Want a white hydrangea plant?
4. And, just because it's toxic to cats doesn't mean they're going to eat it.
Poinsettias are toxic to cats, too. Mine won't touch them when I have them around. I think every house plant I have is supposedly toxic to cats. The only one that gets eaten is my Dracena. My oldest cat gave it a crew cut every winter after I brought it inside when summer was over for years. My youngest does the same thing now. Both would barf it up sometimes. But they would do the same with the "cat grass".
