Rex Ryan wouldn't comment on a report that his wife, Michelle Ryan, posted foot-fetish videos starring herself online.
On a Wednesday conference call in advance of the Jets' upcoming game against the Bears, Ryan responded to a question about the report by saying, "I know you need to ask, it's a personal matter."
Earlier Wednesday, the Jets released a statement saying essentially the same thing: "This is a personal matter and Rex will have no comment."
Deadspin reported on Tuesday night that there was compelling evidence that "ihaveprettyfeet," a YouTube user who posted foot-fetish videos on the service, was the wife of the Jets coach. According to Deadspin, which also broke the news surrounding Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger, the timeline of the evidence lines up with Ryan's stint as defensive coordinator of the Ravens.
This is the just the latest scandal to surround the Jets this year, after the alleged harassment of reporter Ines Sainz in the team locker room, the sexting saga between Favre and Sterger and the Sal Alosi sideline tripping incident.
