Poll question: Did you get a White Christmas today?
It snowed last night, it's snowing right now, and it's just lovely. First White Christmas that we've had in years. :)

Did you get a White Christmas too? :)

3. No, but we might get some snow Sunday and or Monday...That big storm
that rained all over California missed us, but might send heavy snow to New England.

We won't get much in any case.

31. Added- we have a storm warning this morning, with 6 to 10" of snow
beginning shortly till around noon Monday, with winds 20-30MPH, and gusts up to 45MPH starting this afternoon...("Travel is NOT recommended...").
We were supposed to get onlyu an inch or so as of yesterday...

We are staying home and making ham and bean soup, and reading a lot.

4. Not yet.
It was predicted about a week out that it would snow early today, like around noonish. Then they said it would be later in the day, now they're saying it might be so late as to be tomorrow instead of today and it might make things hairy for Monday AM commute.

Gotta to love DC...if you hate the forecast, don't worry, it'll change 6 more times between now and then...then it'll do what was originally predicted. You're just a bit west of me, in WV, so if it's snowing there, it'll be snowing here soon enough...my Chinese buffet and 2:45PM viewing of Black Swan (I'm totally going for the ballet scenes. $13 might be high for a movie ticket, but it's cheap for the ballet.) might be getting scrubbed.

6. When I woke up it was just grey.
A minute ago I looked out the window to see a dusting. Not enough to keep me from abandoning a bike ride a little later.

It started about 7:30am yesterday and snowed off and on for 24 hours. About 4-5 inches total.

14. Good and wet
It stuck to all the trees. Great for snowmen and snowballs. When I let my dog out, she comes back with snow clumps in her fur.

9. Would you like some of ours?
The path to my garage looks more like a tunnel. I can't refill one of my back yard bird feeders because the snow is waist-deep and I can't get to it. I can't get my car back in my garage because the city hasn't gotten around to plowing our alley yet.

White Christmas? Hell, yes.

I'm ambivalent. Snow on palmetto trees depresses me a little. I dunno why.

21. Well, it's Michigan.
White Christmas is probably more the norm than a brown one in the Detroit area. But, I've seen pretty much everything. The year it was 64 degrees and dandelions were blooming in my lawn. The year it dumped about 10 inches of snow on the 23rd, then got down to about 2 degrees on the morning of the 25th, and I thought I'd seriously gotten frostbite on my feet while plowing so the out of towners could get in the driveway, and debated about going to the ER a few minutes until the pain started to ease up.

This year, we have the snow that fell 2 weeks ago, plus we got some snow showers yesterday and today, very light, just a fresh dusting. Definitely a white Christmas in SE Michigan. Hasn't been above freezing for about 2 weeks, either.

22. Picture-perfect snow in W. PA.
It looks just like a Christmas card. Big fluffy flakes and a couple of inches on the ground, and the roads are clear. Just enough snow to make it look all Christmas-y without any driving hassles.

Not that I celebrate Boxing day (or Christmas), but 12-18 inches are expected here in Jersey.

No snowpack till January. That was the start of the last 4 years of odd weather here.
