I'm sitting in Doyle's in T-Town, having a beer and watching the Arsenal-Chelsea match.

4. The crowd in Doyle's really seemed to be Arsenal fans.

When Arsenal scored two goals in as many minutes, the patrons in Doyle's nearly raised the roof.

5. I guess both are London teams. I guess the story is that Chelsea

was on top, and now on the way down, and Arsenal was a lesser team, now on the way to the top?
Maybe that's the fan attraction at this time?

6. Yeah, it's an Irish-style pub not far from the Temple Theater and Convention Center in east Tacoma.

It was a pretty dreary day today in T-Town. I had a few hours to kill, so I popped in for a beer and a Doyle-Dip, which is a French-dip sandwich with cheese and horseradish.

I know why pubs are so popular in Ireland. A warm, companionable place to get in out of the drizzle and have something hot to eat and relaxing to drink.

I divided my attention between the game and surfing the net, including DU, in my new iPad.
