Snow day questions:
Did you get a lot of snow where you are?

Did snow keep you home from work?

Did you get any good loot for the holidays?

What's your biggest wish for 2011?

If you answered the above question with a world-peace-type greater community wish, what's your biggest wish for yourself? If you answered for yourself, what's your biggest wish for the greater community?

What's for dinner?

Is there anything you feel guilty about, but probably shouldn't?

Is there anything you don't feel guilty about but probably should?

Xbox 360 Kinnect or Wii?

Soft shell or hard shell tacos?

How far away do you live from where you grew up?

Did you get a lot of snow where you are? About 16 inches

Did snow keep you home from work? Yes. The busses weren't running. I don't drive. My husband is recovering from surgery and didn't want to drive. Plus, I didn't even have the driveway shoveled out until after 2 pm.

Did you get any good loot for the holidays? The whole family pitched in and got us the Wii, which was a great surprise because I thought no adults were getting any presents.

What's your biggest wish for 2011? Peace of mind

If you answered the above question with a world-peace-type greater community wish, what's your biggest wish for yourself? If you answered for yourself, what's your biggest wish for the greater community? I answered for myself. For the greater community, it would be great to see that whole green economy thing take off.

What's for dinner? My husband is making something with chicken breast.

Is there anything you feel guilty about, but probably shouldn't? Staying home from work today.

Is there anything you don't feel guilty about but probably should? I don't think so. I'm pretty good at feeling guilty.

Xbox 360 Kinnect or Wii? Wii. In-laws have connect. It seems buggier and has fewer games.

Soft shell or hard shell tacos? soft, corn

How far away do you live from where you grew up? About 850 miles.

EDIT: typo

15. answers
Did you get a lot of snow where you are? we got none

Did snow keep you home from work? no, but I telecommute anyway, so it wouldn't have.

Did you get any good loot for the holidays? no, I don't celebrate, I'm not very materialistic (so don't like getting gifts)

What's your biggest wish for 2011? I think I'll quote Lennon: Just gimme some truth - I'm tired of living with the lies, and bullshit. If the empire is going to collapse, let's get to it. The sooner the better for starting to rebuild. If it isn't going to, explain how we avoid it, the better to start moving in that direction.

If you answered the above question with a world-peace-type greater community wish, what's your biggest wish for yourself? If you answered for yourself, what's your biggest wish for the greater community? I think my answer covers both?

What's for dinner? no idea. which means, probably stir fry veggies.

Is there anything you feel guilty about, but probably shouldn't? I have a fairly well-developed guilt-complex, so yes.

Is there anything you don't feel guilty about but probably should? If so, it probably has just got crowded out for the near-term, and really is somewhere on the list.

Xbox 360 Kinnect or Wii? none the last video game thing I understood was pong.

Soft shell or hard shell tacos? hard

How far away do you live from where you grew up? maybe 20 miles? I once lived thousands of miles away, but moved back.

Did you get a lot of snow where you are? About five inches.

Did snow keep you home from work? Nope, I planned to take time off in advance. I try real hard to take off at least the week between Christmas and New Year, and more if I have time available and my work done.

Did you get any good loot for the holidays? Yes. Hubby bought me a new laptop. My old computer was lost in May when our family room basement flooded. Water poured out of the case when we lifted it off the floor and there was a blue screen of death that never went away.

What's your biggest wish for 2011? I want peace and quiet--no more freaking drama!

If you answered the above question with a world-peace-type greater community wish, what's your biggest wish for yourself? If you answered for yourself, what's your biggest wish for the greater community? I'd like to see the world as a whole finally realize that we are all connected. Pain is universal, as is sadness and love. It is all the same no matter where you live or what you look like.

What's for dinner? We had brisket that had cooked low and slow in the over for six hours.

Is there anything you feel guilty about, but probably shouldn't? Not really.

Is there anything you don't feel guilty about but probably should? Hell, if I knew I should feel guilty and actually admitted it I'd be on the hook for it! I can't think of anything, thankfully!

Xbox 360 Kinnect or Wii? Wii.

Soft shell or hard shell tacos? Soft shell

How far away do you live from where you grew up? About a mile and a half.

Did snow keep you home from work? no, not working much over the holidays - couple of cancellations, but not due to weather

Did you get any good loot for the holidays? Android phone- that is pretty cool, Keith Richard's bio, some books about NW art and lovely Celtic wool scarf from my son.

What's your biggest wish for 2011? Discover a new profession.

If you answered the above question with a world-peace-type greater community wish, what's your biggest wish for yourself? If you answered for yourself, what's your biggest wish for the greater community? Less violence for the community at large and more economic stability for it in general.

What's for dinner? We had leftover paella last night, not sure about tonight's menu yet.

Is there anything you feel guilty about, but probably shouldn't? Having too many purses!

Is there anything you don't feel guilty about but probably should? not at the moment..

Xbox 360 Kinnect or Wii? Wii

Soft shell or hard shell tacos? hard shell
