I figured out how to do it months ago

Choose the top 32 teams based on their records. That would be the top two teams for each of the 12 Div 1 Conferences, plus non conference schools with comparable records and wild card conference teams. Start out with 16 bowl games in the first week, eight bowl games the second week, four bowl games the third, two bowl games the fourth, skip a week for hype and then have the National Championship games rotate between the Sugar, Fiesta, Rose, Cotton and Orange Bowls.

Voila, problem solved!

13. So, you know how sometimes you are walking down the street at 2 or 3 in the morning

with elephant poo on your shoes, because you feel asleep at one of the old picnic tables at the zoo and didn't wake up until after the zoo closed and on your way out you stopped to look at the sleeping elephants and by accident dropped your cigarettes into the elephant pen and had to carefully climb in to get them without waking the elephants because you don't have enough many in your pocket to buy another pack tonight and you step in a big steaming elephant heap while trying to find your cigarettes and you finally get out of zoo, and you notice that a bunch of stray cats are stalking you for some reason which is probably that they smell your shoes and they do not really have any idea what a elephant is but maybe your shoes make you smell like a vegetarian or something, and you are just trying to walk home quietly having missed the last bus at 1:30, without disturbing anybody in the neighborhood, but they are sort of noisy cats, so people keep shouting from their windows for the cats to STFU or yelling at you that if your long line of cats won't STFU they'll call the police, and it doesn't seem that they are very interested in an extended early morning conversation about whether or not you've ever seen these cats before, and then you notice how the sky is a purple color with green splotches and you are trying to figure out whether it is really that color from the city lights or whether you permanently destroyed your brain cells when you were trying to be hippy-of-the-year way back whenever it was so long ago you can barely remember, and so you trudge on and when you're about five miles from home it starts raining really hard and you realize you left your umbrella under the picnic table at the zoo?
