Anyone watching "Holiday" - the 1938 film w/ Hepburn & Grant?

What a clearly different world it was then in the movies. Class warfare was clearly out in the open something they would never have the nerve to depict nowadays.\

The dialog was fast and intelligent, not dumbed down as in movies today which treat the audience as it they are sub-morons. In those days you had to pay attention from the "get go" as the plot moved along fast with plenty of action.

there is also a quick reference to Naziism - something about the sort of government one of the rich couples would prefer.

The couple is the cousin, I think? of the Katharine Hepburn character - the male is the cousi she used to play on the trapeze with.

anyway, I was amused. I liked the film, but it's not my favorite of Hepburn-Grant. (Bringing Up Baby, probably is.)
