OK, in a few months I will be purchasing a new POS car.
Even though I have no plans to buy until late spring at the earliest, I think I'll poke around some of the dealerships after work today to scope out what's available...
you might find better deals with cars for sale on the side of the road by a private owner. That's usually how we do it. Then, if we see something we're willing to consider, we bring a mechanic friend w/us (that really helps). Used car dealerships tend to jack prices up way higher then they should be imho. I don't trust them.
We've been getting by w/POS cars for years now. We just run them until something really bad happens... like a broken head-gasket or some such thing. :D
