Mattel digital campaign: Barbie and Ken reunite?
This would be a mistake for both of them. It's well past time for Ken to be honest with himself and for Barbie to move on.

After a controversial split on Valentine's Day in 2004, the two plastic celebrities have led separate, but successful, doll lives. Since 2006, though, Ken has been revamping his mind, body and soul to rekindle the flame.

This time around, the Malibu stud hopes to win over Barbie in time for Valentine's Day, with a little help from the socialverse. The campaign, which marks Ken's 50th anniversary, is centered around barbieandken.com, where users can vote on whether Barbie should "take Ken back" or not. The site features a Love-O-Meter, gauging voters' feelings on the topic.

1. The Malibu stud has some competition he doesn't know about.
During their break-up, Mattel has noted the trend of crime becoming so fashionable due to the Bush/Cheney regime, so the toy company developed SingSing Sammy. Unknown to Ken, Barbie has been sending her kisses & hugs to Sammy, who is shown below in his now-trendy prison garb...

2. I never knew they broke up. I'm not sure I ever knew they were seeing each other.
A delicate question: had they been "seeing a lot of each other"? It was my impression that there wasn't "a lot to see," if you know what I mean
