I mean, the Black Eyed Peas are major suckage anyway, but this is even beyond their usual.

What the fuck is this?!?!?!?!

Pure shit. And they're only a couple minutes into it. Fucking hell.

Oh boy, and now Slash is on! :eyes:

Bring back Prince!

I'm not against this music, but this sucks. And Fergie destroying Sweet Child of mine is just as bad.

6. And it's not just the shitty music - it's that ridiculous dancing, and awful show on the field
with all the stupid lights and shit moving around, and the shitty godawful choregraphy.

It's like fucking community theater choreography for a musical, that isn't very good because a) the people aren't good, and b) they only have a few hours to rehearse, so they focus on the music and the dialogue, not the dancing.

It's like no one fucking cares how it looks.

"I don't know, let's just toss something together in the morning and see what happens."

All I heard was vocals. Even Slash'e bit was turned down. I can't believe it sounded like that in the stadium. Friggin' soundboard engineer needs to get the boot.

15. Prince was so good, wasn't he?

I am having the best time laughing uproariously at friend's comments about the half-time show. To be fair, though, I think they could have picked someone worse. The light-show finally did start to frow on me, a little. I liked the guys with lit-up boxes for heads.

I just wish I could see Brian Eno, Bowie, George Clinton, even Lady Gaga, Arvade Fire- now that would be wild! Anyone interesting.

What are your friends saying about the show? Are you laughing at them because they like it, or are they saying hilariously disparaging things about it?

or just Eno doing "Ambient IV: On Land", just to blow the minds of the artless fucks in the stadium.

there's something almost post-modernist about them. A weird melange of hip-hop, rave, campy performance art and dress-up.

I don't like the BEP especially but I thought it was high energy without them being surrounded by three thousand screaming idiots. I likede the Tron-guy costumes on the dancers.

35. Yeah, the BEP sucked...
Christina sucked....
What's-her-name from Glee was okay, but she's a horrible actress, and tried to "act" while singing, which was annoying.
Most of the commercials sucked. The rest were just lame (except for the young Darth Vader one).

41. "This is worse and more flatulent than wash-ups in Vegas. Where's Axl??"
My quote from last night.

And, right on cue, Slash emerges from the risers, playing "Sweet Child", which Fergus proceeds to butcher in her Axl pastiche voice. Unbelievably wretched.

"Da Peas" are just shit-awful LCD garbage. The only thing that would have made it worse would be Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow coming out and singing anything.
