Second, this is my 1000 post. After all of these years of being on DU and reading it daily, I don't post often. I thought it was fitting that my favorite post on DU should be my 1000th. Thank goodness I will now be 1000+

The first one was my first first choice, LOL. I've had to deal with dogs being afraid of thunder, though Jack doesn't seem to have an issue with it... *knock on wood* My Cairn Terrier, Rags, was a totally different story. He was terrified, and there was no consoling him. My Dad would sit with him on his lap, with his hands over the poor dog's ears... And I took him to work with me more than once... It was awful, poor little guy. :(

But the forever home won out, a perfect ending. My guys haz it and I haz a friend. :loveya: :pals: :hug: :hi:

No, but I did have to deal with a pup who was actually bigger... Poor Charlie used to hide in the bathroom. We finally bonded when I spent an afternoon in there with him. Sometimes, he'd get in the bathtub, fine unless I had to take a shower... Here he is with his BFF, Jack, which should give you some perspective. :wow: ;( :hi:
