Police arrested a man on a charge of burglary Monday night, after they said he was found inside a garage by the homeowner and his father.

Lincoln police said Derek Showman, 23, was caught holding two bottles of beer, with a bag of golf clubs slung around his back and two pounds of ground beef and two pounds of pork sausage sticking out of his coat pocket.

Max is incorrigible. The cats hate him. He bounces 6 feet into the air, or charges through the house to land on top of me like a ton of rock.
