jewelry... mostly tacky, tawdry crap -- 180 degrees from what our DU
member hippywife makes -- and when their celebrity hosts would come in
to hawk their wares, they would put them up in a nice hotel about 15 miles
away (King-of-Prussia, PA, I think). Midway was a fine restaurant in an old
Colonial farmhouse where they'd put on their feedbag.

A friend waited tables there and said the Star Trek folks were some of the
nicer ones (especially Sulu and Scotty). He said James Doohan was THE
most particular Scotch drinker ever -- type of glass, number of ice cubes, etc..
