Help! I"m getting *old* person mail.
AARP cards with my name on them. Senior "death benefit" solicitations. Kiplinger personal finance newsletter offers.

I'm only 43!

Can't you bastards wait 7 more years?

2. The AARP card with my name on it was just *too* much.
I thought about taking it to Golden Corral and asking for my senior citizen discount. But then, I'd have to eat at Golden Corral. :P

5. I keep a bunch of those cards in my car door pocket
They come in handy on the occasional frosty morning when I have to scrape frost off of the windshield and windows.
I don't like to throw anything away until it has served a purpose. :)

7. You ain't seen nothin' yet-When I retired at 59, I started getting
"coupon specials" for Depends adult diapers and for several power chairs...and a yearly calendar from the neighborhood funeral home.

I have to tell you that shit didn't put a smile on my face.

You can either throw them away or mail them to someone else...;)

12. I was getting their mailings when I was 20.
At the time I thought the idea of retiring while I was still in college sounded pretty interesting.

11. Do you know what's worse than unsolicited AARP cards?
Funeral home brochures mailed to your home address, with your name on them!
Jerks. I'm not that old and not ready to plan my own exit party.

22. That's the worst.
Especially when they try to make the brochures all bright and cheery.

13. I will be 65 soon.
Every day I get mail about Medicare supplements.

I get unsolicited phone calls about Medicare supplements.

How does every insurance company know my birthday?

16. I haven't gotten any offers to subscribe to Penthouse of Playboy in awhile.
Got my first one when I was about 13. My mom wouldn't let me subscribe. She had some issues about that so I remained stuck with looking at the bra and panty section of the Sears catalog for a few more years.
