A joke. Don't know how to fit this into the context of anything, but sure like it:
A terrible actor landed the dream role of Hamlet. However, his skills were none, his understanding less, his ability not up to the role. Nonetheless, the show must go on. The audience grew more and more restless, until finally boos and jeers, catcalls and yells drowned him out. He stopped and frantically wave his hands, "Folks! Wait! I didn't write this crap!"

a story about someone finding a skull in somebody's back yard. The coroner was called. Now this was a quaint village so the provincial police force had parked a not-so-bright police officer there. The coroner picked up the skull, looked at it and said "alas poor Yorick i knew him well". To which the police officer said "HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO IT IS!!!!!".

3. He may have known Yorick, but he didn't know Shakespeare.
The line is: "Alas! Poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio."

Sorry, I just haven't weighted in on Shakespeare in a while. I've got to get WSTFTD going again...
