OK, the destruction -- er, remodeling -- is on.

The cats have long since vanished under the sofa. A few dishes have fallen out of the kitchen cabinets while they were taking down the bathroom wall on the other side (when the lady on the phone used the word "demolition, I guess I should have known). Now they have to break up the old cast iron tub in order to remove it.
