Post PHOTOS of your FELINE companion(s)
These photos are of my Esther, both taken when she was about 6 years old. Now she's 8, but she hasn't changed much, lol!

1. She's cute!
I love it when they lay on their backs with their paws up like that :)

Here's a couple of my cat, Kipper (named by my past-wife because she had another black-cat in her past named the same.)

7. Kipper looks like a great cat
and yes, the paws thing is cute. I swear she was posing too. She was just kinda laying on her back spread out, but as soon as she saw me get the camera out, she scrunched up into that pose.

I bet you had just cleaned them, right?

My cat is actually a short hair too, she's just got lots of rolls underneath that fur.

14. A few pics of my kitty
This is Summer--I adopted her a little over three years ago. She's a Siamese-tabby mix, and her stripes came in as she got older.

Being silly on the lid of the clothes hamper not long after I brought her home:

A little more sedate:

Walking around outside looking for some grass to munch on last fall:

26. What a beauty! Love the Siamese x tabby.
You get a pretty tabby cat with blue eyes. Got one of those myself (not as stripey as yours).

Edited on Tue May-17-11 11:06 AM by Rob H.
Summer is super-talkative, which I just love. I visited my parents last week and their cats hardly meow at all. :(

30. Yes, but not in that loud Siamese way.
She talks constantly, but she doesn't meow; she trills. All the time. To me, to the other cats, and sometimes to herself, for no apparent reason. She cracks me up.

15. A tale of two basement kittehs
They were strays, so we didn't get "a choice of color". ;) But we sure can tell them apart. Jasmine is a mellow, sweet 11 lb. bowling pin; Clover is a 5 lb. bad-tempered brat.

Jasmine just after her toof cleaning last year (unhappy!):

Jasmine helping/hindering ("Busy? Pet me!")--note the bowling pin shape:

Clover at her usual bad-tempered best/worst ("Humph!"):

And, of course, our dear departed Dilbert--gone two years but never forgotten:

Never met a box he didn't claim:

19. I, too, have a gray tabby named Jeff.

In spite of the fierce look in this pic, he is the most purring, rubbing happy cat on Earth.

Pixie looks like trouble...the white and gray longhair in my sigline pic, Missy, is just like that; she is a very cunning little kittie.

21. OMG, he's a dead ringer!
My Jeoffry has a white toe on his left front paw and a little white locket on his throat. But otherwise they look a lot alike -- he's got green eyes and tasteful gray stripes and a long whippy tail just like your kitty! And you're right, Pixie is trouble. She's always stirring something up, even though she's only about half the size of the boyz, who are big friendly cuddlebugs.

32. this thread makes me sad
I lost my beloved feline companion a month ago (I was not around to even say good bye as I was working on a recall in WI and I left him with my parents). I'm toying with the idea of getting another but I also am on the road for months on end with my job (there's a good possibility I will be in WI all winter) and I do not want to do that to an animal.

But thanks for kitty pictures, I am always up for them.
