8. You have more humidity than I do.
I think I used to feel a bit chilly when the temps got under 70 when I lived in Florida.

Maybe lower than that, though. I know I didn't get chilly very often.

An apt. building I was living in lost A/C, it was over 100 when I got home from work.
I had to go to a motel for the night. And pay for it.
I swear I drank a gallon of water every hour for the next 2 days.

Now I have one window unit in addition to the whole house A/c.just in case, and for night sleeping.

41. Well, I'm slightly closer to the coast and get a little bit of a break
For example, it's clouded up here, some rain showers around, though we've only gotten a sprinkle, and the temperature has dropped to 80 outside here. It must have rained at the airport because they are reporting 77 and 90% humidity. Either way, it's better than 90+!

Mid 90's with high humidity as far as the eye can see.

One of the things I like least about living in the South, although I understand northern "snow birds" flock to this area just for that reason.

You know, I actually want to fly north for the summer.

Edited on Mon Jun-06-11 12:10 PM by Raffi Ella
The sun was out, no wind at all and all of a sudden I hear thunder, really loud close thunder and then it immediately started raining.

It was pretty hard rain but it was so hot it seemed like it evaporated before it hit the ground. Things got wet but that's about it.
