1. Good luck to you. What ever the prob is, I hope it turns out OK.
Sorry that you're going through the fear and uncertainty.

Maybe it turns out to be something minor.

All the best, TheMightyFavog.

I have enjoyed your postings here.

I'm hoping it's nothing, as well. I've been VERY scared that I might have cancer. I guess I have an irrational fear of cancer. I don't have much of a family history (Paternal grandmother died of breast cancer when I was a toddler, she was the only one of hers sisters to do so, the rest lived into at least their late 70s, plus she was a 2 carton a week smoker as was Grandpa. Dad had a very mild form of skin cancer, but he spent his career and spends his retirement working outside, and he wasn't much to use sunscreen unless he was at the beach, although he covers up these days.)

Cheers.

5. Yeah, I hope this armpit thing isn't serious either.
I'm still really scared.

7. Understandable to be scared, and hoping the best for you.
Usually ( and of course we all know, not always, but usually) this stuff turns out to be something less than we were afraid of. And even cancer is now far from the automatic death sentence it used to be. I've known quite a few people with cancer, and considerably more of them beat it than not, including my father who had prostate cancer 20 years ago , and it came back once too; they got it for good the second time. He's now 93 and still going strong.

9. I had a lump in my arm pit a while back..
My oncologist couldn't say what it was for sure..turned out to be a sebaceous cyst, like from a clogged sweat gland or messes up hair follicle. Here's hoping your pit problem will be just as simple.

10. It was nothing! Yayyyy!!!
Just a fatty deposit. No swollen lymph nodes, nothing bad. Didn't even have to get blood tests!

13. I had testicular cancer a few years ago. I was pretty sure.
Showering one morning I discovered some kind of little 'mass' in my ...you know.
Turned out to be a completely benign spermatocyte or something.

Congratulations.
You ain't gonna die.
At least not quite yet.
:-)
