Thankful for the ac.

The animals only go out do take of business and come running back in.

We all take naps during the day.

There isn't enough ice tea and beer to take this heat.

1. I miss the heat
Down to the 70's over here, na low 60's at night. While triple digits are too much, I hate it the temps here now, I want 90's back.

6. I really feel for you guys. It was really ugly here this summer but
nothing like what you have and you guys have been blistering all summer without a break.

I hope it ends soon for all of you.

12. yikes!!-- this stuff is simply brutal.
It's beginning to takes its toll on me. During the day, I simply won't go outside (except smoke breaks at work-- go figure), I'll either stay inside the office or my apartment. Every morning I check the weather on the outside hope that showers are on their way, but more and more it seems no more than an idle, pipe-dream.

Thankfully, my apartment is small and dark (two windows total-- none of which face west), and on the second story of a three floor building-- so I'm releasing as much heat into the upstairs apt. as I'm getting from the downstairs apt.

Weekend errands are finished by 9am, or started after 8:30pm. But yikes!!-- this stuff is simply brutal.

15. Well, when winter temps hit the single digits,
don't complain and just remember this summer's heat in the triple digits.

18. I love cold weather.
I will love it even more now.

I just don't like it below freezing because of the water pipes and plants.

Our pipes and plants are not made for it.

16. I'm suffering from oak or cedar pollen allergies
It's horrible having a sore throat, horribly runny nose and severe sinus pain in this heat. Going to the dr tomorrow.
