Favorite Jazz Album. Ever.
Me? Tough choice.

Could be Kind of Blue, A Love Supreme, Bitches Brew, Combustication or, hell, Ah-Um.

I'll look to your advice...

3. Thanks for the thread.
" Stan Getz Jazz Samba " - I'd never heard of this, but I like the little bit of Stan Getz I have, so I ordered it online.

Right now I'm listening to Dave Brubeck Quartet " Time Out " to see if I wanted to name it.

My problem with jazz is I like singing with my music.

So I'm going to say my favorite all-time would be perhaps, Ella Fitzgerald sings the Cole Porter Songbook (even if it may be more pop than jazz)

Or perhaps,
Joni Mitchell - Shadows and Light - a live release featuring:
lead guitar: Pat Metheny
bass: Jaco Pastorius
drums: Don Alias
keyboards: Lyle Mays
backing vocals: The Persuasions

:)

5. All good choices. How about something new?
Trombone Shorty - For True is currently at the top of the jazz charts.
