What is the farthest you've gone on a computer? I designed and ran a webpage
for 5 years. Of course I had 'what you see is what you get' software. But it was fun.

7. In a completely different direction - Macao
While exploring the internet with our first modem - 300 baud on an Apple II - I accidentally managed to get to the University of Macao's library catalog system. Hubby and I were researching an antique chest his family owns and looking for information on the early history of Macao. One of the recommended books turned out to only be in the library of the University of Macao - not available to us via interlibrary loan, unfortunately. And also unfortunately since we did not know how the hell we had gotten there, we never could get back.

Of course, in those days (circa 1985-86) we were paying for internet access by the minute, getting anywhere was unreasonably slow (300 BAUD for gawd's sake), and there was no convenient way to bookmark a site once you found it.

10. I brought my computer back from the gates of hell
when it crashed. And re-formatted my hard drive and re-installed my computer's brains enough to run like a charm for two years afterwards, with a disk that didn't contain all the computer install software it should have.

And I have no idea how any of it happened, I just kept punching away in the dark for every evening for hours for around four or five days . . . . and have thereby come to the conclusion that all living things on earth therefore may have very well arrived here by some happy accident.

12. I've visited Mr Popplewick's factory in the Matrix.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrix_ (Doctor_Who)

The first computer I ever built used relays, a telephone dial, lights, switches, and a tape recorder I'd found in the trash. I designed it myself. I didn't really understand induction then, so I'd occasionally get some nasty jolts when a bunch relays let go while I was working on it.

The first electronic computer I ever built used a CDP1802 microprocessor.

My oldest personal website is 13 years old. I had older sites on geocities, delphi, and other services now long gone.

The first check I got for writing code was from Larry Flynt.
