4. yeah. i would be reamed and rightly so. i bought the barebox before i thought the issue through.

but to be honest, lots of our electronic gear comes from miserable chinese sweatshops. i bought an apple mini a few years ago, and in the course of tracking delivery watched it move through china before crossing the pacific. i bet the gigabyte boards in several of my boxes come from chinese sweatshops, too
