Bluesmen, Blueswomen drinks of choice...
One can assume Lone Star Beer or Tequila is the drink of choice for Texas Bluespersons

One can assume Beer or Whiskey is the drink of choice for Chicago Bluespersons

What about Southern Bluespersons? Bourbon? Scotch? Vodka? White Lightening?

1. The South? Homade. Fer shur.
Corn likker, white lightnin', panther piss, mountain dew (NOT the soft drink)
And you drink it out of a fruit jar (Mason jar).

4. That ain't blues. That's hill.
I say that as a Mississippian who married someone whose family still lives in the NC mountains. They're one generation out, are smart, interesting folks with nice houses on some of the most sought after land in the country and the men still like to sip shine. It's high tech and it's delicious.

But bluesmen (and women) are people who like the finer things. You know, one bourbon, one Scotch, one beer.

3. Sonny Boy Williamson II soaked his harp in whiskey.
I don't know if he drank the whiskey after soaking his harp.
