Best holloween costumes. I once went to a huge Halifax Mardi Gras

party with some friends. We dressed as movie stars. I bought an old second hand 1950s dress, sunglasses and a head scarf.

My sister once went as a ladybug. She had a red heart shaped ballon glued to her back with black spots on it I think. She wore black leggings and my black high top running shoes. She had that hairband with antenna on it. Was really original.

Guess who was who. We were fabulous.

He had long hair and a gruf beard; he wore a fake thorn crown and bathrobe and sandals.

When we arrived, he went up to the host and showing 3 long nails said "Can you put me up for the night?" He won best costume.

5. I have a younger friend who was feeling ugly

She so isn't, but she was hanging around with some very glamorous, European women and she needed a lift. Anyway, with wings made of dark red and black feathers, a halo of black beads, a dark red silk chemise, black seamed stockings, strappy black heels and kohl rimmed eyes, she was the bell-of-the-ball that Halloween night.

When forced to dress-up for an office celebration, while my colleagues were prostitutes and flappers, I pinned a red tail to the butt of my black suit pants and donned a set of horns, I guess I am no fun at all.

6. couple of kids down the street went as gumball machines one year

put a clear plastic bag around their bodies and filled them with balloons. Damned good for a couple 11 year olds.
