I finally got to meet Bill Clinton!

Figuratively speaking, that is.

Over the last couple of decades I've had numerous dreams in which I was at an event featuring Bill Clinton, but every time I wanted to approach him and talk to him, someone would block me or he would rush past me and ignore me. In one dream, one of my dogs got to meet him; now that was rather cool.

Last night I finally had a dream in which I actually got to meet the guy. Seemed to be a book signing or some-such. I remember being surprised by the lack of security, that I could just walk up to the table and shake his hand. I introduced myself, and he introduced himself to me as "William Clinton," as though I might not have known who he was. I said, "You are my favorite president, I voted for you twice." He seemed to like that. :)

2. I had a similar but more embarrassing virtual meeting with him when he was president!

He actually did visit my home town of Oxford, and I dreamt that he came to my workplace and shook my hand. I felt quite honoured - and then suddenly realized that, oh NO, I had come to work in my pyjamas, and that was how he'd seen me!

one time. I had to slam on the breaks......I'm just sayin' ......

4. An acquaintance actually did meet Bill Clinton

She didn't deserve to meet him - she was and still is a right winger nutjob (has been legally committed more than once, so nutjob is definitely appropriate). She was picking up her hubby at the airport and Clinton flew in for some event. Everyone in the terminal was offered the chance to go out to greet him, apparently.

She claimed he groped her - I never believed her. There would have been far too many more attractive women in any crowd for him to grope if he were going to do it in public.

5. Right, he gets off the plane and in the middle of a big crowd feels her up.

Even The Clenis wouldn't try that one. :)
