Ok, I have a question; "To What Extent is My Pride a Sin?"

The eldest Eldritch, at age 17, is concocting chords that have never existed before. On his acoustic, he replicates "Run Through the Jungle" harmony without flaw. Then, listening just now, I hear him going into a D-minor descending intermittent with b-flat and A-Major chords.

It was Brilliant. Certainly moreso than I was ready for.

So out here I sit, at the terminal. "Was he playing to me, himself, or..."?

Either way, I haz pride.

And I'm proud of that.

2. You have done your job well.
In a just world, the offspring always smokes the parent--on the best day he/she ever had. Besides, as the Prophet Waylon taught us, "It ain't braggin' if you done it."

4. It's funny, but I was always a little worried.
There is a great deal of talent in the family between my brother, sister, and I we are accomplished designers, writers, martialists, actors, inventors, whatever. Just last night, I heard my kid break through the mundane and into the brilliant.

It was one bad-ass hook. I just have to get the track down so's I can play with it.

I've always known the kids would turn out smarter/better than I at many things. Holy shit... they're gonna take over the world!

I can only imagine what some of the children of DUers must be like. That gives me great hope.
