Has anybody seen "Rise of the Planet of the Apes?"
It's showing at a second-run movie theater near my condo. Is it worth the $3 admission?

1. It's worth $30 just for the plot.

2. i paid full price at the fancy movie theater
and I wasn't mad that I did so 3 bucks sounds like a bargain. Mind you, my theater has Yuengling on tap and makes killer nachos but still, all in all, it was fun.

If you hate Malfoy you'll extra love it.

3. Have not seen it but Roger Ebert gave it three stars
That combined with an 82% tomatometer (87% audience) tells me it's worth three clams...

6. Andy Serkis is getting semi-serious Oscar buzz
Playing a CGI ape as Ceaser. It's surprisingly good for a sumner popcorn movie.
