Today's College Football Thread
What with all the marches and rallies and occupations lined up today, there may not be as much time to watch college football as on a normal Saturday, but there are some good games to check out during down times.

Four games between ranked teams today -- Michigan (11) at Michigan State (23) and Baylor (20) at Texas A&M (21) early, Oklahoma State (6) at Texas (22) in the afternoon, and Arizona State (18) at Oregon (9) tonight.

My Oklahoma Sooners play late at Kansas, which hopefully won't be too much trouble. And the Illinois Fighting Illini, surprisingly still undefeated, play Ohio State at home.

So who does your team play? What teams are you looking forward to?

1. Geaux Tigers!
(And it better be good: my other team is Cal, so I really need a pick-me-up today...)

2. I missed most of that game on Thursday, but
yeah, it looked like a rough one for Cal fans.

Should be a good day for LSU, though :toast:

5. About freakin' time! 7-0 LSU
Great interception return, but the first quarter was not spectacular...

9. Looks like Tennessee really really wants to be a spoiler
Can't say there's anything wrong with LSU's game, but it doesn't seem to have the kind of energy that will beat Alabama or Arkansas (or would have beaten Oregon) this year. Hopefully they'll get it out of their system today...

4. The horny frogs are off today
I'll probably watch part of the OSU/Texas and OU/Kansas, but the later will have to compete with the Rangers ALCS.

27. It was an awesome game
Detroit just fell apart in the 3rd inning. They will now have a few days rest before they have to go to Milwaukee or St. Louis.

19. Overrated
Up by only 10 against my precious alma mater at halftime? That's weak.

Their coaching staff doesn't think their running game can advance the ball a yard and a half in 4 plays, so they call 3 incomplete passes in a row? Against the Jayhawks? Really?

21. it's a texas hangover
It's not unusual for Oklahoma to underperform the week after the Red River Rivalry. I think the second half will tell a different story, though.

We AU fans are rightfully a bit nervous.

Our A game didn't show up tonight. Will it
show up in Baton Rouge? Time will tell.
