Anyone looking forward to the premiere of the Walking Dead tomorrow?
boy, I sure am, because if there is one thing I love, it is some end of the world zombies.

Actually, I won't see it until Monday, no cable, but I just bought the second season on Itunes.

2. Oh yeah.
USAToday says there's plenty of scares and plenty of gore in store for us tomorrow night. They give it four stars. Cool. Bring on the zombies!

3. 4 stars? Most excellent!
I don't know why I am so attracted to zombies, perhaps there is an allegory within the story and the blood sucking wall streeters and corporations.

4. Hell yeah!
I want to know what Jenner whispered to Rick, where they're going, and what's going to happen next.

I can't wait!

9. I have the feeling it's one of two things
that he whispered. I won't say what they are because it would spoil it all. I will say this-it's either about the wife or about the nature of the zombies themselves.

14. I'm still keeping mum,
since they didn't say.

My brother read all the graphic novels and I convinced him to spill the beans. I'll tell, if you send a pm.

5. should be good
I'm hoping they stick somewhat close to the storyline of the graphic novels. If they do, it will be even more intense than last year.

7. Yes
Although I will also have to wait until Monday to see it. For some reason, half the shows I watch are on Sunday, including 3 at 9pm (Desperate Housewives, Dexter, Walking Dead). So I usually record it when it reruns early the next morning.

13. If I could stand the visuals, I'd watch it because I think the story is very compelling
but I cannot BEAR those horrible half dead people. I have horrible dreams. And I'm scared to go outside at night.

So no, I, the lily-livered Flaxbee, will not be watching.

But I'll read recaps.

That was rough to watch.

16. I have a strong stomach
but I found myself gagging for a split second.

I'm blaming it on drainage from my allergies.

18. I guess if it were life or death
you'd become used to it after some time. Then again, I don't think I could have done "the walk" from last season.

19. I could drop a zombie easy but that I don't know if could do what the hunter just did.
Well, maybe if I really had to.

24. OK, I bounced around through a bunch of different channels to avoid
the gross-out images, but I saw the last few minutes.

Please tell me that didn't happen.

25. It did.
Of course a round big enough to bring down a deer would make a big hole in a kid.

The round hit the deer first.

26. Couple of possibilities
Edited on Sun Oct-16-11 11:20 PM by slay
one - he took the hatchet anyways and the bullet hit the hatchet. two - he'll end up not being hurt that bad somehow - shot straight through or the bullet slowed when going through the deer - i dunno i just don't see them writing out the kid. and we still don't know what's up with the other kid. can't wait for next weeks..

27. I was thinking the deer slowed down the round.
I am glad there wasn't a lot of blood on the kid.

Hope you are right about the hatchet.

I have a idea maybe the other group they showed at the end might have the girl.

but was the "other group" in a preview for the next episode? I don't remember any other group. Only the episodes download from itunes, not the preview for the next episodes. :hi: :hi: :hi:
